Please review our Covid-19 protocols before registering for a program.
We understand and respect varying opinions regarding the COVID-19 virus. If you decide to register for one of our programs, we expect every student and family to fully support and follow the protocols designed by DACO and our rental facility.
Even with vaccination options and lower infection rates, DACO believes COVID-19 remains an urgent challenge to creative communities. Singing, dancing, and scene work require close contact, touch, and projection while singing and speaking. Therefore, without proper protection, an infected person can easily & quickly transfer the virus to others.
At DACO, all participants, teachers, directors, and volunteers wear a protective mask while indoors.
When possible, social distancing will be practiced by students and staff during all sessions.
It is of utmost importance for students not to attend classes/workshops/rehearsals if they are not feeling well or show any symptoms of COVID 19, flu, cold, Monkey Pox, or an infectious disease.
Students ONLY will enter our studio or courtyard area. Parents or caretakers will not be admitted into the studio or courtyard to limit exposure.
PARENTS/CARETAKERS—PLEASE REMAIN IN YOUR CAR WHEN DROPPING OFF OR PICKING UP YOUR CHILD.
The BUC building is closed. No one will be allowed to use any part of the building.
As of 8/5/2022--Our indoor mask policy is still in place. If it changes, we will inform you.
As of 8/5/2022-Our required COVID testing protocols are still in place. We do not expect this policy to change during our production. See additional details below.
With the exceptions of eating, drinking, or taking a few moments for mask relief, masks must be worn at all times during our indoor sessions. Teaching Artists will follow this rule as well.
Students will wash and sanitize their hands often and thoroughly! Students must sanitize hands upon arrival and at other points throughout the day. DACO will provide hand sanitizer throughout the indoor studio & courtyard, in restrooms, and at entrances/exits. Students are also encouraged to bring their own hand sanitizer.
Finally, COVID-19 protocols continue to serve as a learning process for DACO. Please remain patient with us as we pursue these new procedures. There may be changes as we proceed. Questions: Email: DACODETROIT@HOTMAIL.COM
