There’s a role for everybody cast in this magical collection of short fairy tale scenes. These sketches allow actors to sparkle and
shine under the virtual spotlight!
While bursting with familiar fairy tale characters, from Big Bad Wolf and Little Red to Goldilocks and Baby Bear and Prince Charming and all the classic princesses, these original scenes are as fresh as they are funny!
This show is sure to end happily-ever-after,
even if the fractured fairy tales don’t!
NOTE: PARTICIPATION AND CASTING
By participating in our musical workshop, you are agreeing to the Creative Team’s vision regarding placement for your child's selected characters and scenes. There are no opt-out options for this production post scene casting. Everyone will shine under the spotlight.
LEAD ONLY is not an option for this production. You are not able to only participate if given a specific role(s) in the show. Once casting is complete, actors are expected to remain committed to the show and fully support the creative vision.
Dreamers Actors Workshop is designed to give actors a chance to explore and sharpen their acting skills in a positive and nurturing environment.
During the first few weeks of our workshop, students will have an opportunity to work on multiple character roles, act using improv skills, develop creative storytelling techniques, refine acting methods, learn camera skills, and a chance to perform a published play designed for a virtual medium.
Once the show has been cast, each student will receive their individual placement in the cast and a script.
The workshop challenges performers of all experience levels.
At the end of our session, under the guidance of the DACO team, actors will record their scenes. A full production will be produced and available for streaming in mid-February 2021.
The process is a positive experience where students are given the tools they will need to feel successful on the virtual stage.
DACO provides a positive environment for students to explore a complete theatre production. From the rehearsal process to dress rehearsal, to props and transitions,
DACO encourages students to seize the responsibility of their role and understand the importance of teamwork.
It is a great opportunity for creative students to have fun while working together to produce a professional show for the audience to enjoy!
