DACO FALL PRODUCTION WORKSHOP
FOR YOUTH AGES 7-13
Non-Auditioned Program
PROGRAM INFORMATION
Our Musical Workshop style programs offer students of various ages the chance to explore and sharpen their singing, dancing and acting skills in a positive, nurturing environment.
Within the first few workshop sessions, students will learn a song and choreography to perform before the artistic team. The process is a positive experience where students given the tools they will need to feel successful on stage.
Once the show has been cast, each student will receive their individual placement in the cast and script. During the first weeks of rehearsal, students will rotate between the director, choreographer and musical director to begin learning different aspects of the play.

The stage choreography will be fun for students of all dance backgrounds and skill levels.
As the musical process develops, students will learn transition, cues, prop management and other production skills necessary to put on a show.
DACO provides a positive environment for students to explore a complete theatre production. From the rehearsal process to dress rehearsal, to props and transitions, DACO encourages students to seize the responsibility of their role and understand the importance of teamwork in the theatre.
It is a great opportunity for creative students to have fun while working together to produce a professional show for the audience to enjoy!
